Yesterday,
The Beatles brayed almost everyday
And they didn’t have much to say
Oh I thought that was yesterday
Suddenly
I realize the anomaly
That the old sod is playing in Quebec City
Oh why not shoot the damned limey
Why he
Had to be on that show, I couldn’t say
I think
Something’s wrong, now I long for some doomsday
Yesterday,
I thought the Beatles ghost had faded away
Now I need a place to hide away
And go listen to “Sister Ray”
Why he
Had to be on the show, I won’t dare say
I think
Boomers took too much drugs anyway
Yesterday,
I thought the Beatles ghost had faded away
Now I need a place to hide away
And go listen to “Sister Ray”
